Human Augmentation is also called Human 2.0. This is a technology that is studying cognitive and physical enhancements as an essential part of the human body. There are three types of Human Augmentation
Replicating human ability: This is a type of augmentation by which particular human ability is replicated. For example, prosthetic limbs for the disabled, hearing aids for deaf people etc.
Supplementing human ability: Augmentation which increases one’s normal or usual ability to do something is called supplementing human ability. Enhancing one’s strength or viewing power fall under this category.
Exceeding human ability: Like the word “exceed” Human Augmentation which exceeds the usual ability of a human body is fall under this category. For example breathing underwater without any diving gear, flying in the sky, seeing beyond wall or infrared light and smelling something that other people cannot detect normally
2. Everything-as-a-Service (XaaS):
XaaS is the acronym of the term Everything-as-a-Service. It illustrates how companies and organization are adopting everything as a service method for just literally everything. It is generally referred to services related to cloud computing. Though it is a digital term, now it can be applied to non-digital worlds too. Many B2B organizations provide these offerings.
